Welcome to the world of Boynton Lodge No. 236 Free and Accepted Masons…

This is a portal to a family of organizations that stem from our fundamental relationship with our Masonic Lodge.  We invite you to view our way of life, by looking at our activities here in South Florida; by exploring how we relate to our Caribbean and European Brethren in an ancient Fraternal bond; by examining the structure of a Masonic Lodge through its organization; by linking to other sites of true Masonic Education.

Freemasonry is an ancient discipline and a philosophical science. It is a true pursuit of knowledge among gentlemen of diverse backgrounds, and is found across the Globe and throughout history.

We, here in Boynton Lodge No. 236 F&AM have been practicing this science since our Charter from the Grand Lodge of Florida in 1917. We are 270 Freemasons who are uniquely American. We come from all over the world and from vastly differing occupations. Yet like Freemasons everywhere, we are at home in any country that harbors a Masonic Lodge. Our stamp is on the making of this great country, this freedom, and western civilization as a whole. Your task is to find the many good things we have done, because Freemasonry is not sought by a man for personal advancement or aggrandizement. A man becomes a Freemason for the good he can do for society, with little-or-no-thought for personal recognition. It is a test of a man’s character for the rest of his life.
